There are many different dere types to choose from, but today we will be telling the dere type that you are.

Dere is a slang word derived from the Japanese term “deredere”. This translates “lovestruck” in English. It’s a term that manga and anime audiences use to define a variety of common personality characteristics or behaviors which are usually applied to female characters. Do you know any of the categories of Tsundere? They are Tsundere, Yandere, Kuudere, and Dandere. Yandere
The word “yandere” refers to an individual who is overwhelmed by love for another. Yandere individuals will usually seem normal at the beginning of a tv program season but become increasingly obsessive, often aggressively responding to possible enemies or threats. The word is a fusion of the Japanese terms “yanderu” and “deredere,” which mean “sick” or “mentally ill” in English. Kotonoha Kastura from School Days is a good example of a Yandere and Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki are two examples of yandere characters. So many anime characters eh?
Dandere
Now a “Dandere” refers to an individual who is silent and awkward in the presence of a romantic interest. If the plot continues, the character’s trust in the object of their love grows, and they develop the confidence to share their emotions.Dandere is a combination of the words “danmari” “silence” in English and “deredere.” Dandere actors include Naruto’s Hinata Hyuga and Clannad’s Nagisa Furukawa. Kuudere
“Kuudere” refers to an actor who seems unsympathetic or cold toward their romantic interest. The character will usually begin to loosen up and start showing displays of affection as the story develops. Kuudere characters, unlike tsundere, will not display hostility towards romantic interests. Kuudere is a combination of the words “kuu” (“cool” in English) and “deredere.” Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats is an example of a well-known kuudere character. Tsundere
Tsundere is best described as a character who is often cold towards others, malicious in their actions, and aggressive towards their romantic interest, often rejecting questions on their emotions when questioned about them. As the story progresses, the actor’s emotions become more responsive, and they ultimately confess to their romantic interest.
Tsundere is a combination of the Japanese words “tsuntsun” meaning literally “cold” or “blunt” and “deredere” “love struck” in English. The word was made popular on August 3rd, 2001, in the Japanese adult graphic novel Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. Taiga from Toradora and Rin Tohsaka from Fate/Stay Night are good instances of tsundere characters.

The Hajidere is an anime character that is insecure and humiliated in the presence of the person they are romantically interested in. They can quickly blush if they are across from the person they are drawn to, they could also faint as a result of their shyness.
A Kanedere would be a character who is far more concerned with power, wealth, and belongings. They don’t worry about your attitude or how you treat anyone. They are usually indifferent and are uninterested in people unless they have wealth. They have conflicting thoughts or opinions about people they care about.
