Hi and welcome to our Bones of the Body Quiz. Do you know how many bones you have in your body? You would be surprised how many people don’t know how many bones they have. We have gone and created a quiz to try and help educate you and get you thinking about the different bones of your body. Our team member josh has done some extensive research into the different bones of the body.

Your task in this human bones quiz will be fairly simple. You have to correctly guess the name of the bone that you will be shown in each question. If you can do this you will fully complete the quiz. This is a quiz that will require you to have a good memory, so you can go back to those science lessons if you can still remember them. Having some knowledge of the different bones will help you with this quiz. Did you know that humans have more bones when they are born compared to when they reach adulthood? If you feel you know a lot about bones,  show us what you know.

The quiz has been classed as difficult by the EpicWin team. The EpicWin team all agreed that this quiz is probably a subject that not many people would be fully clued-up on. Bones Are Alive

While if you look at skeletal parts outside the body, they appear to be stiff and rigid, the bones within our bodies are alive and composed of living cells. Our bodies’ bones are continually developing and repairing throughout our lifetimes only with the assistance of osteoblasts. These cells are continuously assisting in the formation of new bones throughout adolescence, whereas osteoclasts prefer to break down bones. This perpetual cycle of formation and breakdown is more often referred to as bone remodeling.

The malleus (hammer), incus (anvil), and stapes (stirrup) are the shortest bones in our bodies. These bones are commonly referred to as ossicles (Latin for “small bones,” and their function is to transfer sound waves from air to the liquid in the ear canal.

The Bone marrow inside your bones is a spongy material found inside major bones such as the hip, pelvis, and femur. B one marrow is home to stem cells. Stem cells generate a large number of the body’s most vital cells, notably blood, brain cells, heart cells, and bone cells. Keep learning to ace our bones of the body trivia.
